    Your chances of having your resume seen by a human being can be greatly improved by learning how to use ATS efficiently. Here are some simple tips to implement:

     

    File format: To ensure that most ATS programs can read your resume, make sure to send it in Word or Rich Text format.


    Keywords: Include keywords from the job description in your resume to make it more specific to each position. To keep your tone authentic, don't forget to organically mix them into your writing.


    Structure: To highlight your qualifications, use bullet points and succinct, descriptive sentences.
